Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, accompanied by his family members, offered prayers at the Lord Venkateswara temple in Tirumala on Saturday. He had darshan during the Srivani darshan break in the evening, facilitated by TTD officials led by Joint Executive Officer Veerabrahmam.
The CEC's visit comes after the Election Commission of India concluded the assembly elections in Kerala, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Assam, and Puducherry.
Earlier in the day, Mr. Gyanesh Kumar had darshan of Goddess Padmavati Ammavaru at the temple in Tiruchanoor.
The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) officials rendered 'asirvachanams' on him and his entourage inside the temple. The court and election commission are expected to resume their activities as scheduled, with no immediate response or next steps announced following the CEC's visit.
