UP Man Kills Mother, Brother Over Land Dispute on Mother's Day

Rajkishore Gupta, a resident of Banda in Uttar Pradesh, shot and killed his mother and younger brother on Mother's Day following a dispute over the sale of their ancestral property. The incident occurred when Gupta confronted his mother and brother at their home, arguing over the sale of the property, which was actually sold by his father.

According to Senior Police Officer Palas Bansal, the police received information about the shooting and sent a team to the house, where they found the two victims dead. The forensic team collected evidence from the crime scene, indicating that the disagreement over the land sale led to the incident.

The bodies of the victims have been sent for postmortem.

The police have formed four teams to search for Gupta, who is currently on the run. The court will likely hear the case once Gupta is apprehended, with further investigation and charges to follow.
