BlueStone Jewellery & Lifestyle Ltd closed BSE at ₹759.30, up 2.63%, after reporting a Q2 FY27 net loss of ₹3.2 crore, a steep decline from ₹52 crore a year earlier.
Revenue climbed to ₹745 crore, a 45% YoY jump from ₹514 crore, surpassing analysts' median estimate of ₹680 crore. The rise is driven largely by non‑wedding jewellery, which accounts for >80% of sales.
EBITDA rose to ₹95 crore, boosting the margin to 12.7% from 8.1% a year ago. The 4,600‑basis‑point swing reflects higher same‑store sales, which grew 32.9% in H1 FY27.
Repeat customers now represent 56.3% of revenue versus 51.4% a year earlier, and the company added 68 new outlets, expanding to 146 cities. A flagship store opened on Park Street, Kolkata, marking its first tier‑1 presence.
The board has authorized a private placement of up to ₹300 crore in non‑convertible debentures to refinance existing debt and fund working capital needs. The proceeds will also support planned capex for further store expansion.
Looking ahead, BlueStone anticipates continued momentum in the high‑margin non‑wedding segment, with guidance for FY27 H2 to maintain EBITDA margins above 12% and target a 10% YoY revenue growth.
