Eisai Pharmaceuticals donated ₹4.5 lakh to the Department of Paediatric Surgery at King George Hospital on Wednesday to strengthen healthcare services for children. The funds will be used to improve patient care, procure essential medical equipment, and enhance treatment facilities for children requiring surgical interventions.

KGH Superintendent Dr. I. Vani, Deputy Superintendent Dr. Radhakrishna, Head of Paediatric Surgery Dr. G. Rajendra Prasad, and Professor Dr. J. Bhaskar Reddy accepted the contribution and thanked the company for its support.

Eisai Pharmaceuticals representatives Girish Dixit, Madan Mohan, and Joseph Kiran stated the company will continue supporting healthcare initiatives. The hospital administration said it will deploy the funds immediately to upgrade pediatric surgical infrastructure and services.
