India sealed the 2024 T20 World Cup with a 10‑wicket rout of South Africa, 135/5 to 101/10, and the final over was bowled by none other than Hardik Pandya—he kept the pressure razor‑sharp until the last ball.
Hardik Pandya, with his trademark shrug, repeated the celebration that made him a household name, this time hand in hand with global YouTuber MrBeast and Indian sensation CarryMinati. The duo posed in the crease, arms out, shrugging like a silent banner of triumph that instantly lit up feeds worldwide—MrBeast’s caption read, “Had an amazing trip to India,” and Pandya replied, “My brother. Come visit us again soon.”
The gesture traces back to the final over against South Africa, where Pandya’s crisp bowling and subsequent pose captured the moment India lifted the trophy. It’s a nod to the viral shrug popularised by Khaby Lame, but with an Indian twist.
Pandya’s 138 T20Is have seen him accumulate 2,288 runs at a strike rate of 145.91 and haul 114 wickets, making him a genuine all‑round threat; this recent triumph adds a new chapter to his already impressive resume.
MrBeast, who recently crossed the 500‑million‑subscriber mark, shared the photos as part of a collection from his India visit, while CarryMinati’s fans exploded in the comments, chanting “Hardik! You’re the best.”
