In the shooting arena, double Olympic medallist Manu Bhaker will take the 10 m air pistol qualification at 6:15 a.m., joined by Suruchi Inder Singh and Esha Singh, with a chance to advance to the team final and individual medal showdown.
Weightlifting stars Mirabai Chanu and Gyaneshwari Yadav will shoot for gold in the women’s 49 kg and 53 kg categories respectively, both scheduled for the 10:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. medal events.
Beyond the podium events, India will also field teams in hockey, wushu, rowing and even eFootball, with Daniel and Chinmay Sahoo slated for the eFootball semifinals if they qualify.
