The filing, lodged at the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, names the estate’s co‑executors Darren Indyke and Richard Kahn as defendants. The plaintiffs, represented by attorney Hillary Nappi, allege that Epstein’s alleged “modeling book” contained thousands of child‑sexual‑abuse images and videos seized by federal investigators in 2019.
The lawsuit seeks at least $6 million in damages for more than 40 survivors, including Jane Doe, who claims Epstein took partially nude photographs of her at age 12, and ‘Amy’, who says her videos are still circulating in online markets.
Under the claim, the estate must cooperate with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children to identify and notify every victim in the archive, as the complaint states. The plaintiffs also request $150,000 per class member and other penalties against the estate.
Epstein, convicted of soliciting sex from a minor in 2008 and charged with sex trafficking in 2019, died in a New York jail cell that month; he was never tried for producing or distributing child‑pornography.
The case follows earlier suits from women who accused the estate of covering up sexual assaults, expanding the legal reach to those exploited as children. The defendants are expected to file their responses and the court will set a hearing date to address the claims.
