China Confirmed Providing Technical Support to Pakistan During 2025 India-Pakistan Conflict

China supplied on-site technical support to Pakistan during the June 2025 military conflict with India, known as Operation Sindoor, the South China Morning Post reported last week. The disclosure confirms long-held suspicions in Indian defense circles about Beijing's direct involvement in the conflict.
During Operation Sindoor, Indian air defense systems engaged multiple missile barrages launched by Pakistan, many of which used Chinese-origin technology. Analysts assess Beijing likely used the conflict as a real-world test to evaluate both Indian defenses and the performance of U.S.-supplied military hardware under combat conditions.
The report marks the first public confirmation of Chinese personnel being present in Pakistan during active hostilities with India. India has not yet issued an official statement, but defense officials are expected to raise the matter in upcoming security dialogues with Quad partners.
U.S. and allied intelligence agencies are reviewing the implications of China's hands-on role in regional conflicts. The court will resume hearing on Tuesday.
