RCF shares ticked 0.55% to ₹109 on the BSE after the company announced a ₹797 crore contract with Larsen & Toubro to revamp its ammonia plant.
The order, awarded on a lowest‑bid basis, spans 36 months and covers engineering, manufacturing, erection, commissioning and a guarantee run, aiming to cut specific energy consumption.
The board also approved a further public offering of up to ₹1,500 crore, pending shareholder and regulatory approvals, to fund expansion into sewage treatment, renewable power and agrochemicals.
Analysts note that the contract could improve RCF's cash‑flow in the coming quarters, but the company remains exposed to commodity price swings that have weighed on the broader fertilizer sector.
RCF is expected to report Q4 earnings on November 15; management hints at a stable margin outlook as the plant revamp gets underway.
