Shares of Bajaj Finance slid 1.4% to ₹957.35 on Monday, trading lower ahead of the results release on the NSE.
The company posted Q2 net interest income of ₹13,335 crore, a 23.6% YoY increase, and operating profit of ₹10,699 crore, up 23.2% from ₹8,784 crore in the prior year.

Margin compression is expected to deepen this half as the RBI’s repo rate hike pushes the cost of funds higher, with the company warning that margin erosion could exceed the 10‑15 bps range it had earlier projected, after a 5‑bps squeeze in the first half.
Bajaj Finance lifted its full‑year AUM growth target to 26‑27% from 22‑24%, reiterated a 23‑25% medium‑term outlook, and plans a ₹17,500 crore QIP plus convertible warrants; it also reiterated a ₹11‑lakh‑crore AUM goal for FY2030. Analysts had priced net profit at ₹5,500 crore, so the 28.7% jump beats expectations. The company will report Q3 updates on March 18, 2027.
