The internet was still processing Nana Patekar’s death when Tanushree Dutta dropped a bombshell on Instagram. The actor, who accused Patekar of sexual harassment during the 2018 'Horn Ok Please' controversy, posted a video seeking blessings from Mahadev. But the caption that accompanied it reads like a ransom note mixed with a spiritual diary.
She didn't just mourn. She celebrated. "Even though I seriously have my doubts on the authenticity of the death news," she wrote, "I really wish and hope truly this evil is dead and gone for good." She referred to the alleged "hundreds of maaran kriyas done by Nana and his friends" and demanded that all "flying monkeys and helpers" meet the same fate.
It gets darker. Dutta explicitly stated, "I cannot take their extreme negativity and persistent conspiracies anymore... I will leave from here if these people still continue to breathe." She even suggested that space might be a better place to connect with her deities, calling Earth "overrated."
Context matters. Patekar was cleared of all sexual harassment charges by Mumbai police in June 2019. Yet, for Dutta, the narrative remains unchanged. Her post is less a tribute and more a declaration of war, framing her survival as a spiritual victory over a specific, named enemy.
The industry has already reacted to her previous "evil dead" remark. This latest update doesn't soften the tone; it amplifies it. Whether this is a cry for help, a manipulative tactic, or a genuine spiritual crisis is for the courts and psychiatrists to debate. But for now, it stands as one of the most jarring post-mortems in recent Bollywood history.
