The Karnataka Rajya Muslim Okkoota (KRMO) will hold a major convention in Bengaluru on May 16 to discuss the Congress government's unfulfilled promises to the Muslim community. The convention, to be held at Sir K. P. Puttanna Chetty Town Hall, will include the release of a report titled ‘Karnataka Muslim Convention – What Did the Congress Government Say? What Did It Do? What Next?’, which reviews the government's performance over the past three years.
The decision to organize the convention was made at a meeting on May 6, attended by representatives of Muslim organizations and the KRMO ad hoc committee.
According to the organizers, the report will highlight key issues and assurances made to the Muslim community that have remained unfulfilled.
The convention comes as the Congress government is set to complete three years in office, with representatives of various organizations expressing dissatisfaction with its functioning.
The court is not involved in this matter, but the Karnataka government is expected to respond to the concerns raised by the Muslim community. The Karnataka Rajya Muslim Okkoota will likely announce its future course of action after the convention.
