Finn Allen scored a 47-ball century to guide Kolkata Knight Riders to a six-wicket win over Delhi Capitals in Match 51 of the Indian Premier League at Delhi on April 28, 2026. His 100 not out, studded with 10 sixes, helped KKR overhaul a target of 143 with 18 balls to spare.
Delhi Capitals posted 142 for 8 in their 20 overs, with Axar Patel contributing a disciplined spell, but KKR's chase was anchored by Allen's explosive innings. Cameron Green supported with 33 off 23 as the visitors reached 145 for 4 in 17 overs.
Allen became the fourth KKR batter to score an IPL century, after Brendon McCullum (158* in 2008), Venkatesh Iyer (104 in 2023), and Sunil Narine (109 in 2024). His 10 sixes placed him third on KKR's list for most sixes in an innings, behind McCullum (13) and Andre Russell (11).
After the match, Allen said he aimed to take responsibility following early wickets and adapt to the challenging pitch conditions. "I just tried to get into strong positions and bat deep," he said, acknowledging Axar Patel's tight bowling.
The IPL 2026 season continues with the next KKR fixture scheduled for May 1 in Chennai, while Delhi Capitals will look to regroup ahead of their match against Sunrisers Hyderabad on April 30.
