The pair’s six‑series run was a steady climb: 7, 14, 21, 29, 36, 44. They had entered the medal round after a 138‑point qualification, sitting fourth behind Qatar, South Korea and China.
This bronze pushes India to a record three skeet medals at Aichi‑Nagoya, following a men’s team bronze earlier in the Games and the country’s first women’s skeet team medal. Both shooters now finish the Games with two medals apiece.
