The Telangana Engineering Agricultural and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test (EAPCET) 2026 recorded attendance rates of 93.11% in the morning session and 93.54% in the afternoon session on its second day, according to an official statement. Both computer-based sessions, held from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., were conducted without disruption across the state.
In the Hyderabad zone 1, which had the highest number of registered candidates at 8,313, absenteeism was highest with 951 absent in the morning and 760 in the afternoon. However, districts such as Nalgonda, Nizamabad and Siddipet reported attendance exceeding 98%.
Telangana State Council of Higher Education chairman V. Balakista Reddy, JNTUH Vice-Chancellor T. Kishen Kumar Reddy and EAPCET convener K. Vijaya Kumar Reddy oversaw the test drive configuration for the examination. The process was completed prior to the start of the first session.
The examination will continue as scheduled, with authorities monitoring coordination and technical performance across all test centers for the remaining days.
