The Telangana Engineering, Agricultural and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test (EAPCET) 2026 for the engineering stream witnessed high attendance rates on Saturday, with 93.44% of candidates attending the first session and 93.05% attending the second session. The first session was conducted from 9 a.m. to 12 noon, and the second session from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
The highest attendance was recorded in the districts of Nalgonda, Nizamabad, Karimnagar, and Bhadradri Kothagudem, with 32,540 candidates present out of 34,823 allotted for the morning session, and 32,390 candidates appearing for the test in the afternoon session.
Telangana Council of Higher Education Chairman V. Balakista Reddy, JNTUH Vice-Chancellor T. Kishen Kumar Reddy, TG EAPCET Convener K. Vijaya Kumar Reddy, and other officials were present during the initial configuration of the computer-based test.
The high attendance rate indicates a smooth conduct of the test, and the results are expected to be announced soon. The Telangana Council of Higher Education will likely release the official results and further details in the coming days.
