SPF unveiled DeepVerse today, announcing that 75 companies—ranging from biotech to quantum tech—will collaborate under a single umbrella, with a combined valuation that tops $100 billion.
Secretary S. Krishnan of the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology underscored the need for a multi‑stakeholder framework, noting that DeepVerse “will bridge the gap between policy and practice” across the ten identified sub‑sectors.
The platform will operate in three tiers—Deep Core, Deep Circle, and Patrons—bringing in heavyweights such as Accel, Intel, and Ather Energy at the Core, while Meta and General Autonomy join the Circle; high‑profile patrons include the CarDekho Group and Global Education Lab.
According to the SPF release, advisory board members chaired in‑depth dialogues on regulation, capital access, talent, and global expansion during recent Deeptech Baatcheet sessions held in Delhi and Bengaluru.
SPF’s membership already spans over 75 firms with a combined valuation of more than $100 billion, a figure that dwarfs the average valuation of a typical Indian startup cluster.
Looking ahead, SPF plans to host monthly DeepVerse forums, aiming to translate policy dialogues into actionable funding rounds and international partnerships, with the first round of investments projected for Q3 2026.
