An Uber driver in Medlands Community alerted police on September 24 that an adult man was following a teenage girl.
Jain, who had been courting the girl online for months, claimed he was bringing a gift when he was stopped.
Investigators found that the girl was under 18 and that Jain had concealed his age on multiple social‑media accounts, a fact that surfaced when the girl blocked him.
The Sheriff's Office seized his phone and laptop, uncovering evidence that he had maintained this relationship while hiding his identity.
Charges include four counts of first‑degree sexual exploitation, four counts of third‑degree exploitation, and one count of sexual extortion. A magistrate denied bail, remanding him to the Davidson County Detention Center; his next court appearance is scheduled for October 6, 2026.
