The BCCI will set up an IPL Fan Park in Hubballi on Saturday and Sunday, allowing fans to experience a stadium-like atmosphere while watching live cricket telecasts on huge screens. The event, to be held at the BDK Grounds in Santosh Nagar, will also feature live music, a variety of food, kids' play zones, face painting, and virtual batting, according to senior manager of BCCI Sumeet Mallapurkar and KSDCA Dharwad zone convenor Altaf Kittur.
The gates will open at 1:30 p.m. for afternoon matches and at 4 p.m. for evening matches, with entry free on a first-come, first-served basis. Visitors will also have a chance to win attractive prizes in a lucky dip.
The IPL Fan Park is part of a project to take cricket fever to more regions, with similar events being set up in Mysuru, Mangaluru, Belagavi, and Shivamogga.
The organisers are expecting a footfall of around 10 lakh during the two days. The event will resume on Sunday, with the same schedule and attractions, and fans can look forward to an exciting experience.
