Former Professor of Indian Institute of Technology (IIT)-Madras, N. Siva Prasad, spoke at the inaugural session of a two-day international conference on recent advancements in artificial intelligence, quantum intelligence, and inclusive technologies at Dr. RVR NRI Institute of Technology near Vijayawada on Friday. He emphasized that these technologies are rapidly transforming modern society, reducing laborious work, enhancing human comfort, and improving societal well-being.
The conference, which brought together around 300 academicians from 138 institutions, featured discussions on the distinctions among emerging technological paradigms and their present and future applications.
Associate Professor K.V. Daya Sagar stressed the importance of cultivating a strong research culture, while Professor J. Somasekhar observed that quantum technologies are poised to revolutionize artificial intelligence and information technology.
The conference will continue to discuss emerging developments in AI, quantum computing, and inclusive technologies, with participants from across the country and abroad. The event is expected to conclude with a summary of key takeaways and recommendations for future research and development.
