Hulk Hogan Estate Sells Clearwater Mansion for $5.9M; Cottage Adds $2.8M

The Clearwater Beach mansion, once the opulent home of Hulk Hogan, closed the market at $5.9 million—just under the $6 million threshold the estate had aimed for in early 2026. A neighboring 2,062‑square‑foot cottage fetched $2.8 million, bringing the combined sale to $8.7 million, but no public record confirms whether a single buyer acquired both plots.

Initially listed for $10.98 million in January 2026, the mansion’s price dropped to $6.9 million by September before finally settling at $5.9 million. The cottage, first put on the market at $4.5 million, saw a similar steep decline to $2.8 million, reflecting a broader market shift toward more modest waterfront properties.

Hogan purchased the 5,400‑square‑foot, three‑storey residence in April 2012 for $3.33 million, while the cottage was acquired in 2016 for $1.6 million. Both homes boasted private beach access, a Mediterranean‑style design, a private elevator, and extensive outdoor amenities that made them standout assets on Clearwater’s Gulf‑side.

Martha Thorn of the Thorn Collection at Coldwell Banker Realty—who had been a longtime friend of Hogan—handled the estate’s listings. Hogan’s death on July 24, 2025, after a medical emergency at the property, prompted the estate to begin marketing the homes in January 2026.

The sale completes the transfer of Hogan’s adjacent beachfront compound to new owners, a process that will now move to final title transfer and tax filing. The estate’s attorneys have indicated that the proceeds, after closing costs and taxes, will be distributed to Hogan’s heirs, but the buyers’ identities remain confidential.
