IndiGo to Start Flights from Noida International Airport on June 15, 2026

IndiGo will begin commercial flights from Noida International Airport (NIA) in Jewar, Uttar Pradesh, on June 15, 2026. The airline will be the first to operate from the newly inaugurated airport, which is part of a Rs 11,200 crore public-private partnership project.
The airline plans to initially connect NIA to 16 destinations, including Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Amritsar, and Jaipur. Bookings are available via IndiGo’s website, app, or travel partners. Aloke Singh, IndiGo’s Chief Strategy Officer, stated NIA will serve as a gateway for western Uttar Pradesh and the National Capital Region.
NIA, developed with multimodal connectivity via road and rail, is designed to handle 12 million passengers annually, scaling to 70 million. Singh highlighted its role in supporting India’s aviation growth and affordable travel. The airport’s location on the Yamuna Expressway enhances accessibility for the NCR.
The first phase of NIA focuses on domestic operations, with future plans for international flights. The project underscores India’s infrastructure-driven aviation expansion, with NIA complementing existing airports like IGI and Hindon in the NCR.
