Amma Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam (AMMK) general secretary T.T.V. Dhinakaran on Saturday accused Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) of submitting a forged letter of support to the Governor, claiming it bore the signature of AMMK MLA S. Kamaraj. Dhinakaran demanded TVK release the original document and challenged the authenticity of both the letter and a video showing Kamaraj signing it.
Speaking at a press conference in Chennai, Dhinakaran stated the letter and video were fabricated and suggested artificial intelligence may have been used to produce the footage. He directly blamed TVK founder and actor C. Joseph Vijay for the act, calling it a deliberate attempt to mislead constitutional authorities.
The AMMK chief said the photocopy submitted to the Governor on Friday night was invalid, as Kamaraj had not extended any support to TVK. He warned legal action if the false claim was not retracted. The Governor's office has not commented on the submission. TVK has yet to issue a formal response. The matter is expected to be clarified during the next round of stakeholder consultations on Monday.
