Indian Student Dies of Heart Attack in US After Graduation

Mohammed Kumel Shaik, a 26-year-old Indian student from Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh, died of cardiac arrest in California, a day after celebrating his graduation walk from Golden Gate University. Shaik's friends have started a fundraiser to help send his body back to India for his last rites.

The fundraiser, organized by Ravi Teja Nannapaneni, aims to support Shaik's family in performing his final rites and easing the burden of his educational loans and unexpected expenses.

According to the fundraiser, Shaik was a kind, humble, and caring person who had come to the US with big dreams and worked hard for his future and his family.

The family, from a lower-middle-class background, will receive support from the fundraiser to help with the expenses.

The court or relevant authorities have not made any official statements regarding the incident, but the fundraiser is currently ongoing to support Shaik's family during this time. The family and friends of Shaik are currently awaiting the necessary procedures to be completed to send his body back to India.
