
As per its Q4 filing, Asian Paints reported revenue of ₹10,542 crore, up 18% YoY from ₹8,938.6 crore, beating the ₹10,200 crore consensus and nudging the share price 1.45% higher to ₹2,454 on the BSE.
EBITDA margin climbed to 20.6%, a 240‑basis‑point lift over last year’s 18.2%, outpacing the 18.3% estimate and underscoring tighter cost discipline.
Decorative volumes rose 9%, comfortably within the 8‑10% consensus range, while the industrial coatings arm sustained a mid‑teen growth, reinforcing the company’s broad‑based expansion.
The firm also disclosed that commercial production of VAE has commenced at its Dahej facility, a 1.5‑million‑tonne‑annum plant, as part of its backward‑integration push to secure raw‑material supply for its paint lines.
Asian Paints will provide further material updates on its VAE and VAM plants in the coming weeks, and it continues to target 8‑10% volume growth for the upcoming quarter, with the next earnings release scheduled for May 28, 2026.
