PM Modi to Visit Bengaluru for Art of Living Anniversary and BJP Victory Reception

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will arrive in Bengaluru on May 10 to participate in the 45th-anniversary celebrations of the Art of Living and the 70th birthday of its founder, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. The Prime Minister is scheduled to deliver a keynote address at the Art of Living International Centre and inaugurate the Dhyan Mandir, a newly constructed meditation hall.
The Karnataka unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will organize a public reception for the Prime Minister at the HAL Airport upon his arrival. Leader of the Opposition R. Ashok confirmed that approximately 15,000 people are expected to attend the event, which serves as a celebration of the party's recent electoral performances in West Bengal, Assam, and Puducherry.
During his visit to the ashram, the Prime Minister will launch several nation-wide service initiatives focusing on mental well-being, rural development, and nature conservation. The Art of Living foundation stated these projects are part of a year-long commitment to social transformation across the 182 countries where the organization operates.
The visit also precedes a series of global leadership dialogues and summits hosted by the foundation, covering ethics in governance, business, and education. These events are intended to foster sustainable approaches to public services and industry standards.
Following the Prime Minister’s visit, the celebrations will continue with a global meditation for World Peace led by Sri Sri Ravi Shankar on May 13. The ashram will also host policy roundtables on prisoner welfare and cultural festivals throughout the month.
