Sagility Ltd’s bottom line thickened in the first half of FY27, with net profit rising 13.1% to ₹284 crore from ₹251 crore in the same period last year. The top line did the heavy lifting, growing 22.6% to ₹2,032 crore. EBITDA climbed 23.4% to ₹512 crore, keeping the margin steady at 25% year-on-year. It’s a sign that scale isn’t diluting efficiency, at least not yet.
On the bottom half, adjusted profit after tax edged up 8.1% to ₹325.4 crore, representing a 16% margin. Basic EPS ticked up 13.3% to ₹0.61, while adjusted basic EPS rose 8.1% to ₹0.70. For the half-year, revenue hit ₹3,995.6 crore, a 25% jump. Adjusted EBITDA for the period reached ₹1,006.9 crore, accounting for 25.2% of revenue.
Ramesh Gopalan, Managing Director and Group CEO, pointed to "broad-based momentum" in a statement. He highlighted new SOW wins for AI solutions and the integration of CareSeed into Clinical Practice. The recent acquisition of Chirok is expected to bolster their end-to-end provider RCM capabilities. "Our pipeline is healthy with larger deals," Gopalan said, noting that the AI-led healthcare segment is gaining traction.
Cash flow and client acquisition metrics support the growth narrative. The firm secured $40.2 million in annual contract value from 31 existing clients and one new client during the quarter. Total active client groups hit 105 after adding 28 in the first half. Srinivas Mattapalli, Group CFO, called the quarter "strong" with "robust cash generation," citing the highest adjusted EBITDA margin in six quarters. He emphasized that the Board’s decision to raise the interim dividend from ₹0.05 to ₹0.15 reflects confidence in the business.
The market reacted positively to the numbers. Sagility shares closed at ₹45.45 on the BSE, up ₹1.13 or 2.55%. The record date for the dividend is October 30, 2026, with payment scheduled by November 21, 2026. As the company enters the seasonally stronger second half, the focus shifts to disciplined execution during the AEP and Open Enrollment season.
