The BSE block window on Tuesday recorded 4.5 crore units of Cube Highways Trust at ₹153 per unit, totaling ₹689.5 crore, matching the floor price set for the trade. Sources say Seventy Second Investment Company LLC may be the seller, offering 44.97 million units—a 3.35% stake in the trust.
Cube, which listed on the exchange in 2021, has expanded its portfolio from nine to 27 highway assets, with four more slated for acquisition. CEO Vinay C. Serkar told CNBC-TV18 in July that the trust aims to reach 34 assets in the near term, fueling expectations of further equity activity.
The block deal followed a 1.2% slide in Cube’s shares to ₹154.02 on the previous session, falling below the floor price. Market watchers note that a trade at floor price can compress the share float and create upside if the trust signals additional asset deals.
The next key event is the AGM on October 12, where the board will discuss a potential buy‑back plan and the status of the asset acquisition pipeline. Investors should also keep an eye on the June 2027 debt‑free target and the 2026 Q4 earnings for guidance.
