The Sound and Light show at Mysuru Palace has been cancelled on May 11 and 12 as the Karnataka government observes state mourning following the death of Planning and Statistics Minister D. Sudhakar. The show will resume on May 13, officials confirmed.

The Sound and Light show at Mysuru Palace has been cancelled on May 11 and 12 as a mark of state mourning following the death of Karnataka Minister for Planning and Statistics D. Sudhakar. The palace illumination scheduled for May 11 was also called off, according to a statement from the Deputy Director of the Mysuru Palace Board.

The decision reflects official protocols observed after the passing of a state cabinet minister. The shows, normally held daily from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., were suspended for two days as a gesture of respect.

The Deputy Director confirmed that the Sound and Light show will resume on May 13 under regular schedule. No further changes to palace visitor programming have been announced.
