Paras Healthcare announced a ₹375 crore reduction in its net bank debt, targeting ₹30–35 crore in interest savings for FY28.
The move comes after the company completed a ₹1,450 crore IPO, with a fresh issue of ₹500 crore and an offer‑for‑sale of ₹950 crore.
The fresh issue proceeds are earmarked as ₹375 crore to pay down existing debt and ₹125 crore for general corporate purposes, while the offer‑for‑sale proceeds remain in the market.
In tandem with the debt‑cut, Paras Healthcare is boosting its operational capacity to 3,000 beds—an increase of 36% from the current 2,200—by adding 300 beds in Gurugram’s New Gurgaon extension and 500 beds in Ludhiana over the next 18–24 months.
Occupancy at the Gurugram facility has already surpassed 80%, underscoring the demand for additional beds and foreshadowing higher revenue streams.
Financially, the company posted a PAT of ₹44 crore for FY26, which rose to ₹50 crore in the first quarter of FY27, signalling a turnaround in earnings.
Looking ahead, Paras Healthcare expects the combined effect of reduced interest costs and expanded capacity to lift profitability in FY28, while its strengthened balance sheet positions it for continued growth.
