Tovino Thomas and Nazriya Nazim unveiled the title look of their upcoming Malayalam film 'Gracias El Clasico' from Camp Nou in Barcelona on May 11, 2026, during the kickoff of the El Clasico match between Barcelona and Real Madrid. The live launch, streamed at 12:30 a.m. IST via the actors' social media accounts, marked a rare instance of an Indian film title reveal held at a major international football venue.
The film is directed by Muhsin Parari and written by Muhsin and Zakariya Mohammed, known for 'Sudani From Nigeria' and 'Halal Love Story'. It is produced by Sajin Ali, Abbas Thirunavaya, Sameer Thahir, and Shyju Khalid under A & HS Productions, Happy Hours Entertainments, Babuettan Films, and The Writing Company, with Pradeep CS and Shanir MK as co-producers. Sushin Shyam composes the music, Vishnu Thandassery handles cinematography, and Bles Thomas is the editor.
Muhsin Parari last directed 'KL 10 Patthu' starring Unni Mukundan and announced another project, 'Thantha Vibe', with Tovino Thomas earlier this year. Tovino's next release, 'Athiradi', directed by Arun Anirudhan, is scheduled for May 14, 2026. Nazriya's recent film was the mystery thriller 'Sookshmadarshini', directed by M.C. Jithin.
The production team has not announced a release date for 'Gracias El Clasico', but filming is expected to begin in June 2026, according to industry sources.
