Varmora Granito reported a net profit of ₹44 crore for the September quarter of FY27, a 208% increase over the ₹14.4 crore earned in the same period last year. The jump follows a 19% rise in EBITDA to ₹68.3 crore and a 2.26‑percentage‑point lift in the EBITDA margin to 17%.
Revenue from operations climbed 9% YoY to ₹399 crore, up from ₹366.8 crore in September‑FY26. The figure represents a 27% quarter‑on‑quarter lift from the June‑FY27 quarter, where sales dipped 2.9% to ₹315.3 crore.
Total income increased to ₹402.6 crore from ₹389.2 crore a year earlier, while EBITDA grew 19% to ₹68.3 crore, up from ₹57.2 crore in the comparative period. The company’s EBITDA margin improved from 14.7% to 17%, a 226‑basis‑point expansion.
Chairman Bhavesh Varmora said the June quarter was hit by an industry‑wide shock as gas prices in Morbi spiked after the West‑Asia conflict. Production shut between early March and mid‑April, forcing a 2.9% revenue decline. Varmora countered higher costs by raising prices 18%–19% across its product range, fully offsetting the extra gas expense.
The firm expanded its footprint by adding four exclusive brand outlets, bringing the total to 309, and launched 508 new designs. Glazed vitrified tiles and technical products now contribute 87% of first‑half revenue, up from 83% a year earlier, and the segment grew 9% YoY.
Looking ahead, Varmora expects Q3 earnings to remain robust as gas costs normalize and new outlets open. The company plans to upgrade its Solaris unit to focus on glazed vitrified tiles and will continue to trim non‑core assets, including the sale of its stake in Simola Tiles LLP.
