Suriya and Trisha Krishnan's 'Karuppu' Trailer Released, Film Set for May 14 Release

The trailer for the Tamil action-drama 'Karuppu', headlined by Suriya and Trisha Krishnan, was launched Sunday evening, revealing a narrative centered on a protracted legal battle and a fight for justice. Directed by RJB, the film follows a couple's struggle to resolve a long-pending case as courtroom confrontations escalate into physical conflict.

Trisha plays Preethi, a lawyer who takes up the cause of an elderly man and his granddaughter, only to face resistance from a powerful opposing figure portrayed by RJ Balaji. Suriya enters the narrative as a determined ally, shown engaging in both legal arguments and intense action sequences, including stunts choreographed by Anbariv. The trailer highlights emotional moments, high-stakes drama, and powerful dialogue.
