Congress MP Claims Party Left DMK Alliance Over AIADMK Partnership

Congress MP Manickam Tagore has claimed that the party left the DMK alliance after seeing through the DMK's design to join hands with AIADMK for power. According to Tagore, the proposed partnership between the two Dravidian parties is not for the sake of Tamil Nadu or upholding secularism, but to prevent TVK founder C. Joseph Vijay from forming the government.
Tagore accused the DMK of compromising its secular credentials by partnering with the AIADMK, which he described as the 'B' Team of RSS and BJP.
The Congress MP's statement comes in response to the DMK's accusation that the Congress was a betrayer and had backstabbed the alliance partners.
The Tamil Nadu government formation process is ongoing, with various parties maneuvering to form alliances and stake their claim to power. The court will resume hearing on the matter soon, and official responses from the parties involved are expected in the coming days.
