Pedestrian Killed in Hit-and-Run on Bengaluru's MG Road

A pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run incident on MG Road in Bengaluru early Friday morning, according to the police. The deceased, identified as Srinivas, aged between 55 and 60, was struck by a speeding car while crossing the road near Anil Kumble Circle around 4:30 a.m.
The police said Srinivas had used the washroom near the MG Road boulevard walkway and was crossing over to the other side of the road when the incident occurred. He suffered multiple injuries to his head, hands, and legs, and died on the spot.
