Shares of Indus Towers slipped 0.51% to ₹384.05 on the BSE, following a 2.5% YoY decline in net profit to ₹1,793 crore for FY27 Q2.
Revenue rose 4% to ₹8,516 crore from ₹8,188 crore, while EBITDA edged up slightly to ₹4,633 crore, yet its margin narrowed to 54.4% from 56.3% a year earlier.
The tower base expanded 5.6% to 270,480, and co‑location sites climbed 5.9% to 440,153. A ₹195‑crore write‑back of doubtful receivables in the previous quarter helped cushion the profit dip.
Return on equity before tax fell to 25.3% from 38.4%, and post‑tax ROE slipped to 18.8% from 29%. Return on capital employed dropped to 19.1% from 26.3%.
CEO Prachur Sah said the company delivered a strong quarter underpinned by sustained demand, healthy co‑location additions and robust cash flow, and that a low‑cost shared infrastructure model, digital energy management and AI‑led transformation are boosting operational efficiency.
The firm cited a healthy order book and Africa rollouts as key growth drivers, and it remains confident in delivering sustainable growth and long‑term shareholder value.
