Maharashtra Class 10 Results Declared, 92.09% Pass Rate with Girls Outscoring Boys

The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) declared the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) results for Class 10 on Friday, May 8, 2026, reporting an overall pass percentage of 92.09%. Board chairman Trigun Kulkarni confirmed the results, stating that 1.5 million students appeared for the examinations across the state.
Girls recorded a pass rate of 94.96%, significantly higher than boys' 89.56%, continuing a trend from previous years. The Kokan division led with a 97.62% pass rate, while Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar division recorded the lowest at 88.41%. Other divisions, including Mumbai (94.97%), Pune (94.24%), and Kolhapur (95.47%), performed above the state average.
Results are now available on the official MSBSHSE website and through SMS-based services. School authorities and education officials are expected to review regional disparities in performance in the coming week.
