Shares of Senco Gold Ltd closed up 0.94% at ₹321.70 on the BSE, reflecting a 31% jump in Q2 revenue.
The quarter’s revenue surge was driven by a 29% rise in retail sales and a 19% same‑store sales growth, while diamond jewellery revenue climbed 31%. Volume rose only 7%, yet the stud ratio improved to 12.2% from 11% in Q1, signaling a shift toward higher‑margin pieces.
H1 FY27 saw a 48% YoY revenue rise, with retail up 40% and same‑store sales at 30%. The company logged its highest ever topline of over ₹5,000 crore in H1 and surpassed ₹10,000 crore on a trailing‑12‑month basis.
Senco added six showrooms in Q2, bringing the network to 215 outlets, and e‑commerce sales grew 53% YoY. Domestic 24K gold prices edged up 1.4% during the quarter, while international prices saw a 3% rise, keeping the brand’s margin mix under pressure but still profitable.
