BJP immediately slammed Congress after Fox News released a digital investigation claiming a link between riots in France and youth protests in India, citing 101 organisations across 13 countries as part of an alleged global network. The report, titled "Global Chaos Inc. grows to 101 groups," names Progressive International as a coordinating body for messaging between France, Albania and India.
Gaurav Bhatia said the investigation exposes an "anarchy and regime‑change plot" by the Congress, calling Rahul Gandhi a traitor and demanding proof of any collaboration with foreign anti‑democratic forces. He referenced the alleged meeting between Congress leaders and Progressive International on 10 Janpath, dated April 10, 2025, as evidence of the party’s foreign ties.
Pradeep Bhandari echoed Bhatia’s claims on X, insisting the Congress must reveal whether it coordinated with Progressive International during the protests. He added that the Fox report shows how these 101 groups operate across nine countries, a figure he claims illustrates the scale of the threat.
The Congress has not yet issued a statement. Party officials said they would respond within a week, acknowledging the allegations but refusing to confirm or deny any cooperation with the alleged groups.
Amid the political drama, a 20‑year‑old student protester in Delhi told reporters he feels the BJP’s narrative is used to silence dissent. He said the chants of "No more chaos" echo the accusations made by BJP leaders, but he remains hopeful that the truth will surface.
The situation remains fluid, with the Congress expected to issue a formal response shortly, while BJP officials continue to rally supporters around the narrative of an external plot to destabilise India.
