Pixxel to Launch India's First Orbital Data Centre Satellite by Late 2026

Bengaluru-based space technology company Pixxel will launch Pathfinder, a 200 kg orbital data centre satellite, by the fourth quarter of 2026 in collaboration with Indian AI firm Sarvam. The satellite will carry datacentre-class GPUs and Pixxel’s hyperspectral imaging camera, enabling AI models to be trained and run in low Earth orbit rather than relying solely on ground-based processing.
