A Jana Sena Party delegation comprising legislators Konatala Ramakrishna, Panchakarla Ramesh Babu and Ch. Vamsi Krishna Yadav has begun a tour of North Andhra districts to mobilize party workers ahead of the upcoming municipal elections. The team, which concluded its first phase in Vizianagaram on Saturday, is scheduled to hold a meeting in Srikakulam on Monday to assess local readiness and gather input on proposed changes to civic body divisions.
The delegation is collecting feedback on the expansion of municipal divisions, with Vizianagaram set to increase from 50 to 62 wards. Local leaders have been asked to submit grievances regarding jurisdictional changes. JSP senior leader Avanapu Vikram submitted a report highlighting electoral opportunities and urged coordination meetings between JSP, TDP and BJP in all districts to strengthen the alliance's position.
JSP leaders in the region expressed confidence in the party's grassroots network, with Srikakulam district president Pisini Chandra Mohan stating that the visit would boost local morale. Senior leader Adada Mohana Rao emphasized the party's strong presence in Parvatipuram and surrounding areas of Parvatipuram-Manyam district. The party will continue its consultations and coordination efforts ahead of the polls.
