Vidya Vikas Institute of Engineering and Technology (VVIET) conducted its Graduation Day ceremony for MBA and MCA students at its Mysuru campus on Friday. The event marked the formal conferral of degrees and certificates to graduating students, with academic achievers and university rank holders also recognized for their performance.
Kaveesh Gowda, Secretary of Vidya Vikas Educational Trust, Mysuru, inaugurated the ceremony and urged graduates to uphold professional ethics, institutional values, and social responsibility in their careers. He emphasized the role of education in shaping responsible professionals.
Sridhar Aranala, Chief Sales and Distribution Officer at The Hindu Group, advised graduates to identify their strengths and treat failures as opportunities for growth. Rajeev Sharma, former Chief Strategy Officer at Mitsubishi Electric Pvt Ltd, stressed self-discipline, confidence, and continuous learning as essential traits for leadership and career success.
The event was jointly organized by the Department of Management Studies and the Department of Computer Applications. The Graduation Oath was administered by VVIET Principal Karibasappa Kwadiki, with deans Nagasundara K.B. and Kiran Kumar Thoti present during the proceedings.
The ceremony concluded with formal felicitations and the distribution of awards, marking the end of the academic program for the cohort. No further institutional announcements were made.
