PM Modi Marks 75th Anniversary of Restored Somnath Temple

In a signed article marking 75 years since the restored Somnath Temple was reopened to devotees, PM Modi said the struggles and sacrifices of those who laid down their lives to protect the temple and those who rebuilt it will never be forgotten.
PM Modi will attend a ceremony at the Somnath Temple on May 11 to mark the 75th anniversary of its inauguration by former President Rajendra Prasad.
The prime minister said that the temple's restoration is a testament to the country's unconquerable spirit and that it continues to endure in the consciousness of Indians.
The ceremony on May 11 will include special pujas, which will be held for the next thousand days, and PM Modi has urged his fellow Indians to visit the temple during this special time. The court will resume hearing on the matter is not applicable here, however, the Prime Minister's visit to Somnath on May 11 will be a significant event in the temple's anniversary celebrations.
