ICICI Prudential Asset Management Company posted a profit after tax of ₹888.96 crore for the September quarter, up 6.08% YoY. Revenue from operations climbed 16.31% to ₹1,673.79 crore, while total expenses rose 17.86% to ₹493 crore.
Compared with the June quarter, PAT fell 7.84% to ₹964.63 crore, but revenue grew 7% sequentially and PBT slid from ₹1,280.65 crore to ₹1,197.70 crore.
The board approved an interim dividend of ₹30 per equity share, translating to ₹15.15 per share for a ₹1 face value. This payout is more than double the ₹14.85 interim dividend announced in January, a 102% jump.
Shares closed at ₹2,969.10 on Monday, down 2.02%. Despite the dip, the stock is up 11.59% YTD, but has slipped 3.73% over the past week and 6.65% over the past three months.
Analysts note that the record dividend may attract income‑seeking investors, yet the Q2 profit margin of 53% (PBT/Revenue) remains below the sector average of 58%. The company is expected to release FY27 guidance on 30 November, which will indicate its strategic outlook.
