The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) facilitated the extradition of Abhay alias Abhay Rana from Portugal to India on Saturday, May 9, after coordination with the Ministry of External Affairs and the Ministry of Home Affairs. Rana, a suspect in multiple criminal cases registered by Haryana police, is accused of involvement in an organized crime syndicate engaged in extortion and violence.
