ROWW, the disaster‑response network founded by actor Paul Walker after the 2010 Haiti earthquake, logged 13,093 beneficiaries and 738 volunteers in its 2025 operations. The organization deploys lean teams of medical and construction professionals to hit disaster sites within hours, bridging the gap until larger aid arrives.
Since 2010, ROWW has fielded teams in Chile, the Philippines, Nepal, Vanuatu, Fiji, Indonesia, the Bahamas, Turkey, North Carolina, California, and Jamaica. A mother in Jamaica, who lost her home to a hurricane, recalled how a ROWW volunteer built a temporary shelter that kept her family safe while the state response trailed.
ROWW will continue to mobilise volunteer teams for future emergencies, and will publish its 2026 impact report in the coming weeks.
