Shares of Lenskart Solutions slid 3% to ₹686.6 at 9:20 am on NSE after a block deal that moved 3.6 crore shares at ₹688 each, totaling ₹2,468 crore, according to the BSE filing.
The company’s Q1 filing showed a net profit of ₹222 crore versus ₹60 crore a year ago, a 270% jump, while revenue rose 43.3% to ₹2,714.2 crore.
Earlier this month, Platinum Jasmine A 2018 Trust, an investment vehicle of the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, sold 1.7% of the company at ₹682.45 per share for ₹2,047.4 crore, with a 90‑day lock‑up on further sales, per the BSE filing. The block deal is the third such transaction in the past month, following sales by Alpha Wave Ventures and National Pension Systems that moved 1.7% and 0.45% of the company respectively, according to the filing.
Lenskart also experienced a weightage increase in the FTSE All‑Cap Index during the recent rebalancing, generating potential inflows of up to $60 million and helping the stock touch a new post‑listing high, the index provider said.
Despite the dip, the share has gained 56.6% YTD and is 79.5% above its issue price; analysts remain bullish given the company’s revenue trajectory and expanding market share. Investors will watch the upcoming earnings on June 30 and any guidance on capital structure or acquisitions.
