Tata's latest compact sedan, the Aeris, is set to hit Indian roads on September 25, 2026.
At an ex‑showroom starting price of ₹6 lakh, the Aeris steps into a fiercely contested segment dominated by Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Honda Amaze and Hyundai Aura.
Under the hood, the brand will most likely keep the 1.2‑litre petrol engine that churns out 85 hp and 113 Nm, paired with a choice of a 5‑speed manual or an automated manual transmission. A CNG option is expected to remain on the lineup.
Inside, Tata has packed a 10.25‑inch touchscreen, a fully digital instrument cluster, 360‑degree camera, auto‑folding ORVMs and Type‑C charging ports—features that were recently introduced on the facelifted Tiago.
The teaser also showed a redesigned front with a new grille, updated headlamps and black‑treatment alloy wheels, signalling a clear visual leap from the outgoing Tigor. The launch is scheduled for September 25, 2026, with the final variant‑wise pricing to be announced at that time.
