Nothing Technologies Ltd. launched its new Headphone (1) Pro on September 29 in North America, selling at $399 via its website, Amazon and Best Buy. The headphones feature a triple‑driver configuration and an aluminum‑titanium frame with glass accents.
The design upgrade gives the unit a slimmer profile and 12% thicker padding, while the glass panels can be replaced without full disassembly. The model also offers 30‑hour battery life with active noise cancellation and a range of EQ presets crafted with Metropolis Studios.
CEO Carl Pei told a media briefing that Nothing’s U.S. audio revenue grew 175% last year, with unit sales up 110%. He added that the company is now “ready for a potential IPO” but sees no rush to go public.
Industry analysts say the price points the Headphone (1) Pro at a level that could pressure rivals Sony, Apple and Bose. A local Best Buy manager noted that the new model has already attracted early buyers who praised its comfort and soundstage.
The launch follows Nothing’s $2 billion hardware sales milestone and positions it for a possible IPO next year. Investors will watch the September sales window closely for signs that the company can sustain its rapid growth.
