
Apple unveiled the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max across six retail outlets and its online store on Sept. 18, 2026. The new Pro models arrive in black, silver, glacier and a fresh burgundy finish, and feature a 48‑MP Fusion main camera, A20 Pro chip, and a vapor‑chamber cooler designed to boost performance and battery life.
In Maharashtra, a customer who waited 10‑12 hours claimed, "I finally have the first phone in my hands," ANI reported. In Bengaluru, Rahul, an iPhone long‑time buyer, said he arrived at 5 am and described the launch as a "festival" for him, while a Noida buyer waited from 6 am and secured the first 18 Pro Max, ANI quoted.
The 256‑GB iPhone 18 Pro starts at ₹1.64 lakh, scaling to ₹3.14 lakh for the 2‑TB variant, while the 256‑GB Pro Max begins at ₹1.79 lakh and reaches ₹3.29 lakh at 2 TB. These prices mark a rise over the previous generation, reflecting the added hardware and software upgrades.
Apple also launched AirPods 5 with active noise cancellation, claiming 50 % more noise reduction, and the Apple Watch Series 12 and Ultra 4 with a new S11 chip. Its first foldable phone, the iPhone Duo, with a 7.6‑inch inner and 5.4‑inch outer display, will open pre‑orders on Oct. 16 and hit shelves on Oct. 23 at ₹2.99 lakh for the base model.
